Join us for an early fall afternoon of gorgeous flowers, nourishing food and friendship.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

A curated flower bar full of gorgeous blooms for you to choose your favorites.

A guided demo of garden-style, foam-free floral arranging in a vase.

Visiting with friends, perhaps making new friends, on a working flower farm.

A delicious, nourishing grazing table lunch made by Terroir Kitchen. All food will be plant-based with gluten free options. We will also have herbal tea lovingly prepared from herbs grown on the farm.

Most of all, we hope you leave feeling inspired by flower play… an activity we are so privileged and grateful to share with you, while gathering gifts from mother earth ❤️

FLORAL ARRANGING EVENT NITTY GRITTY

Date: Saturday, September 19, 2026 from 11 am-1 pm

Farm Address: 6233 Drake Settlement Rd, Burt, NY 14028

Parking: The address given is for the house on the property. Please pull into the driveway on the west side of the house and pull up by the white shed (you’ll see the flower van). Please do not park in the driveway down by the house - the driveway must be accessible for house tenants. Thank you :)

What to Bring: Just yourself. BYOB if you feel like it!

  • This is a working farm and as such, there is uneven ground and tripping hazards. Unfortunately, the field is not wheelchair accessible.

  • No Refunds will be given for any reason once you’ve purchased your ticket. Please gift it to a friend if you can no longer attend! Thanks for understanding.

  • Rain: If there is rain, we will cancel the event and you will be refunded.

  • We do not currently have a bathroom; please plan accordingly. If nature calls, there is a Tops in Newfane and some restaurants nearby.

  • Carpooling is encouraged if you are coming with friends!

About OUR Flowers… Grown slowly, with intention

The slow flower movement, much like the slow food movement, centers around locally-grown, non-exploitative products grown with love and intention. It takes months, and in some cases years, for us to grow our flowers to full bloom. How much sweeter it is, growing these beautiful plants and slowly enjoying them every step of the way, than it is to fly them in boxes from across the globe.
