The actual variety name of this dahlia tuber is unknown. I named her “Tony’s Mania” in honor of the kind man I originally purchased these tubers from in 2017 off Craigslist. His name is Tony Antek and he wrote a book called “Bipolar Buffalo: A Mosaic of Minds Journey” detailing his life story of living with bipolar disorder in Buffalo, NY.

“Tony’s Mania” is a vibrant fuschia dahlia with an adorable demeanor. She shoots up many blooms at a time on long, graceful stems.

We plant “Tony’s Mania” at home because her garden performance is so fun to watch!

You will receive dahlia tubers that have been organically-grown and hand harvested from our flower farm. We do not buy tubers in bulk and resell them — all tuber stock comes from our flower farm in Lockport, NY. You are guaranteed to receive the variety you ordered. Our dahlia tubers are stored with care and are fully viable with at least 1 growing “eye” that has the potential to grow into a robust plant. Your “eye” may be invisible to you when you receive the tuber — some varieties will still be in hibernation at the time of shipping.

You will receive dahlia growing instructions, including information on planting, fertilizing, cutting, and digging/storing your tubers.
