THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE ORDERING

  • Every tuber you receive has been hand selected for optimal size and will have at least one viable growing eye with the potential to grow into a robust plant. Most of our Dahlia Tubers are sold as single tubers, not clumps. If you’ve never ordered Dahlia Tubers from a small farm, please know that this is typically how tubers are sold.

  • Upon receiving your package, you must inspect your Dahlia Tubers upon arrival. You are free to email us at heirloomsoulflorals@gmail.com with concerns/photos and we will happily try to solve the problem! After 5 days of receiving your tubers, you are in charge of keeping your tubers alive and claims will not be considered for refund. Dahlia Tubers are a living product and we cannot be held responsible for rotted tubers after planting, poor storage/gardening conditions, etc.

    Detailed instructions for holding your tubers are included in the package, and all the growing information you need can be found in our book: Growing Gorgeous Dahlias: The Regenerative Grower’s Guide to Abundant Dahlias from Garden to Flower Farm.

  • The 10% discount code is valid for newsletter subscribers for all orders placed on March 1-2, 2026. We cannot honor the discount code if you forget to order during this time frame, nor if you forget to put your discount code in during checkout. Thank you for understanding all our busy, moving parts during the big dahlia sale!

  • We do our best to prevent viruses in our dahlias. According to the American Dahlia Society, roughly 87% of dahlia samples contain a virus. We adhere to ADS recommendations for strict sanitation and insect control; however, viruses can still happen in any garden.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

  • We do not cancel nor refund orders for any of the following reasons:

    • Change of mind / don’t want it anymore

    • Damage due to USPS shipment after package leaves our studio (all packages are delivered to USPS in pristine condition)

    • Dahlias did not grow to your satisfaction during the season; you reach out months later

  • If we experience a variety loss in storage, you will be refunded the full amount for those tubers.

RESPECTFUL COMMUNICATION

Disrespectful discourse through email or social media will get you instantly blocked from our email list, follower list, and you will never be able to order from our website again. As small business people with deeply passionate motives, we do our absolute best to provide top-notch product that is earth-loving and joyful. If you are dissatisfied for any reason, let us know in a respectful manner, and please do keep in mind that we are not responsible for poor gardening/weather conditions!

SHIPPING

  • All orders are $15.00 flat rate USPS shipping, no matter the size of the order.

  • We cannot combine shipping costs for subsequent orders unless a promo code is given later on.

  • Shipping begins in early-mid April once temps in your region have risen above freezing. We cannot accept requests for early or late shipping. Shipping for Mother’s Day orders will occur during the week leading up to Mother’s Day.

  • Please make sure to enter your correct email address with no typos during checkout! You will automatically receive shipping updates once your package is shipped. If you enter the wrong email address or if it has a typo, you will not receive shipping updates.

  • We cannot control shipping delays once your package is dropped off at USPS. For any issues, please contact USPS.

FREE LOCAL PICKUP

  • Local Pickup will occur on ONE DAY ONLY - Saturday, April 25, 2026 from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm.

  • Pickup Location is LOCK CITY BOOKS at 8 Market St, Lockport, NY 14094. We will be celebrating Indie Bookstore Day, so a few other local authors and I will have books displayed.

  • If you place an order and then later on cannot pick up, please coordinate for someone else to pick up for you. If your order is not picked up, we will hold it for you and at that point, you are responsible for reaching out to us at heirloomsoulflorals@gmail.com.
