WHAT YOUβll LEARN + SEE WITH YOUR OWN EYES IN THE DAHLIA DEMO
How to Dig Dahlia Tubers β Fran will dig a few dahlia tuber clumps & talk about options for what to do with them once theyβre dug.
How to Split Dahlia Tubers β Fran will split (divide) a few different varieties of dahlia tuber clumps. We will discover growing eyes, mother tubers, rotted/dead/broken tubers, disease (if present), and youβll see first hand how one clump can turn into a whole handful of new tubers. Fran will split tubers until everyone feels confident!
How to Store Dahlia Tubers β Fran will pack the split tubers into storage containers the exact way we pack the entire dahlia patch. Weβll talk about storage conditions and what to look for over winter.
Q&A β Anyone can ask anything and Fran will do her best to answer your burning dahlia (or other flower/gardening) questions.

About OUR Flowers⦠Grown slowly, with intention
The slow flower movement, much like the slow food movement, centers around locally-grown, non-exploitative products grown with love and intention. It takes months, and in some cases years, for us to grow our flowers to full bloom. How much sweeter it is, growing these beautiful plants and slowly enjoying them every step of the way, than it is to fly them in boxes from across the globe.
